The Township of Limerick utilizes the Streamlined Planning Approach & Resource Centralization (SPARC) model provided by Hastings County to deliver land use planning services to residents and developers. The SPARC model was adopted by Limerick Township Council in June 2025. This means that all land use planning matters are handled by the Planning and Development department at Hastings County and are referred back to Limerick Township Council for decisions where applicable.
