The Township of Limerick’s 2026 Municipal and School Board Trustee Election Voter Portal is NOW LIVE. Electors can now access the portal to confirm their voter information and cast their vote online when the Voting Period opens. To access the portal, please visit https://vote.limerick.ca/. We encourage all eligible electors to use the “Elector Lookup Tool” to confirm that they appear on the Voter’s List. To use the Elector Lookup Tool, select the button and enter your first name, last name, date of birth and qualifying address. Once you have entered your information, select “Search” to check your voter registration.

If your information is found, you’re on the Voter’s List!

If you are not registered yet, the portal provides a “Register” button that allows you to begin the registration process. Select “Register” and follow the instructions provided to submit your information and register as an elector. Once completed, the request to be added to the Voter’s List will be sent to staff to review and approve. Once approved, you’re on the list!

If your address does not appear in the address list, or if the search cannot find a match for the information you entered, please contact the Township for assistance so staff can verify and update your information.

When staff is reviewing your registration form, they may reject it if your ID is not clearly visible, or for additional information. If you are a seasonal resident and have a different address in Limerick than shows on your ID, you must provide proof of an eligible address in Limerick. This can be a utility bill, tax bill, etc. IF YOUR FORM IS REJECTED, YOU ARE STILL ABLE TO ADD YOURSELF BACK IN WITH THE CORRECT DOCUMENTATION, and you will receive an email stating clearly what is missing/needed.

The Municipal Office is also aware of eligible electors who have previously contacted the Township seeking information or assistance with being added to the Voter’s List. Now that the voter portal is live, staff will work quickly to follow up with those individuals and provide them with the appropriate instructions and information needed to complete the registration process.

Voter Information Cards (VIL) will be mailed by NueVote to eligible electors. Your Voter Information Card will contain your Voting PIN along with important instructions on how to vote using the Township’s telephone and internet voting options. Please keep your card in a safe place when you receive it, as you will need the information provided to access the voting system. If for some reason you do not receive a VIL in error or it becomes lost, please contact the Municipal Office and staff will re-issue you a new VIL and PIN Number.
